How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is included with the rental, up to five miles by road from the 94/Highway 25 intersection (Selected because it is the approximate geographical center of Monticello). This means delivery is included anywhere within city limits and many areas beyond! Any additional distance costs $2.80 per mile (one charge covers both delivery and pickup). For example, if a customer lives 8 miles from that intersection they are charged a one time fee for the three additional miles ($8.40 is added to the cost of rental).

Non-refundable reservation fee

Goldfinch Rentals charges a non-refundable reservation fee of $50 or 15% of the rental (whichever is greater). This amount is deducted from the remaining rental fee on delivery. The customer can opt to pay the entire rental fee when making a reservation. If the customer later cancels the rental, the rental fee minus the reservation fee will be returned to them.

How is rental duration figured?

Goldfinch Rentals hourly rentals include delivery and pickup time which is estimated as two 30 minute periods. This means the time the machine is available for use by the customer is one hour less. (Example: Customer can use the machine for a minimum of 3 hours if renting the machine for 4 hours). Daily rental pickup times are agreed upon with the customer.

Fuel refill

Goldfinch Rentals DOES NOT require machines to be returned full of fuel. Goldfinch gasoline operated machines are filled with non-ethanol fuel ONLY. Diesel machines with diesel fuel ONLY.

Cleaning fee

Machines not returned in clean condition will result in a $25 cleaning fee billed to the customer.

Entire cost due on delivery

The entire cost of the rental must be paid on delivery before the machine is unloaded.
